EVSE Australia is a supplier and installer of universal electric vehicle chargers, offering its products and services to both an e-commerce and B2B audience. If you own an electric car, chances are you’ve either heard of their brand or have used one of their electric charging stations at places like Meriton and Mirvac developments.
Though EVSE already had an established online presence, they were seeing stagnating results in organic traffic and revenue. EVSE came to us with big goals to use SEO to further build its customer base by expanding its organic reach to electric car owners, workplaces and partners and be known as the No.1 supplier and installer of electric vehicle chargers across Australia.
To achieve this, we built an SEO strategy to improve visibility across the site by targeting high-value keywords and improving their current keyword rankings to bring increased organic traffic and organic revenue.
Firstly, we audited all the metadata including page titles, meta descriptions and headings and discovered that not all pages were optimised. We also performed a competitor analysis, where we were able to identify keywords that their competitors were capturing and EVSE was missing out on. Additionally, there were opportunities to optimise the page copy using our internally developed content optimisation tool called Natch to make changes that help Google better interpret the content and thereby rank higher for the target keywords.
Alongside these optimisations, we strengthened EVSE’s domain authority by establishing links to highly authoritative domains that were relevant to EVSE’s industry niche.
