The PPC agency judged on cost per sale, not clicks
Google Search, Shopping, Microsoft Ads and YouTube are separate auctions with separate prices. We run them as one budget, move the money towards whichever one sells, and report every lead and sale against what it cost.

One budget, several auctions
PPC is every ad you pay for by the click: Google Search, Google Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube and Microsoft Ads. Each one is a separate auction with its own prices, its own audience and its own way of wasting money.
The job of a PPC agency is deciding which auction gets the next dollar. Plenty of the budgets we inherit are split by habit, with the bulk still on whichever campaign was set up first. Ours follow cost per lead and cost per sale, so the channel that sells gets the money and the one that does not gets cut.
Where each PPC platform earns its place
Every platform gets a job. The ones that sell get more budget each month, and the ones that do not get cut.
Google Search
Where most lead generation budgets belong first: text ads on searches with buying intent, a tight keyword structure and weekly negatives. For service businesses this is usually the bulk of the spend.
Google Ads managementGoogle Shopping
For retailers, the product feed is the campaign. Shopping puts the product, price and photo above the text ads, and it runs on feed data, so the feed gets fixed before a bid is touched.
Google Shopping managementMicrosoft Ads
Bing carries about one Australian search in ten, and one in six on desktop. The account imports from Google in an afternoon and reaches people searching from a work computer, where Bing is the default in Edge and Windows.
Microsoft Ads managementPerformance Max
Google's all-in-one campaign across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display and Gmail. It works for stores with clean feeds. For lead generation it needs brand exclusions and account-level negatives, and it gets reported on its own line.
YouTube and Demand Gen
For when you have taken all the search demand there is and need to create more. Judged on cost per lead over a longer window, since people rarely buy the first time they see a video.
Remarketing
Most people who click do not buy that day. Remarketing brings them back across Google and Microsoft at a fraction of the first click's price, capped so nobody feels followed.
Our PPC management services: what every account includes
Six jobs, run by the same account manager every week across every platform you advertise on, and a monthly report that says which of them moved your cost per sale.
Channel plan and budget split
A forecast for each platform from its own click prices and search volume, then a budget split you can see. Every month the split moves towards whichever channel produced the cheapest sale, and the report says why.
Search campaigns, Google and Microsoft
One keyword structure built once and run in both auctions, with ads written against what people actually type and negatives added every week. Microsoft campaigns get their own bids, because the same click rarely costs the same on Bing.
Shopping and product feeds
Merchant Center set up and cleaned, titles and attributes rewritten, and the catalogue split so the products with margin get the budget. A sportswear retailer's revenue rose in the first month after its feed was re-segmented.
Google ShoppingAudiences and remarketing
Customer lists, site visitors and in-market audiences layered over the search campaigns, so bids rise for the people most likely to buy and fall for the ones who never do.
Landing pages
A click that lands on a homepage with a menu is money gone. Our sister brand Postclick builds campaign pages with one job each: a call, a quote request or a sale.
Postclick landing pagesTracking across every platform
Google tags, the Microsoft UET tag, call tracking and offline conversions from your CRM, proven end to end before the budget goes live. Each platform learns which leads became customers, and the report compares them on cost per sale.
What happened after we took over these PPC accounts
Six accounts across search and Shopping, each led by the number the owner cared about: leads, cost per lead, revenue or return on ad spend.

What clients say about our ads
Four reviews from the 70-plus on Google and Clutch, quoted as written.
Our rental fleet is currently at 95% utilisation. That's up from 70% before Local Digital took over our advertising. Proof is in the pudding: sales are up. They're happy to let their work speak for itself with no lock-in contracts, and we receive detailed monthly reports showing campaign progress.
We're achieving our revenue goals and our ROAS goals, with a high volume of customers to the online store and a higher volume of customers to the bricks-and-mortar store too. Extremely organised, responded quickly to our needs, took our recommendations on board and delivered on time.
Working with Local Digital has been awesome. They have taken my online business to the next level. The ads are brilliant and their ideas and knowledge is second to none. Thank you.
I have been working with Local Digital to manage our SEO and Google Ads for a few years now and I am very happy with the level of support we receive and the ability to communicate efficiently and openly.

Send us the account, or the website if there is no account yet. We show you the wasted spend, the tracking that was never right and what your market costs per click, with a forecast. The findings are yours whether you hire us or not.
Build the plumbing
Account build or rebuild, campaign structure, keyword research, negative lists, conversion tracking and call tracking proven end to end, and landing pages sorted before the budget goes live.
Cut waste, find the winners
Search terms read every week, negatives added, bids and budgets moved towards what converts, ads tested in pairs. This is where cost per lead usually drops hardest.
Report on leads, not clicks
Calls, forms and sales from Ads, this month against last, with cost per lead next to what you paid us. Then we set next month against what the phone actually did.
What PPC management costs
Two numbers. Our management fee, which starts at $1,000 a month and covers every platform we run for you. And your ad spend, which goes straight to Google and Microsoft on your own card and never passes through us.
The spend is set by what a click costs in your trade and how many leads you want. A plumber in Sydney pays $29.71 a click and a skip bin company $8.48, so the same budget buys very different volumes. We forecast leads per platform before you commit.

Common PPC questions
Plans, builds and runs the ads you pay for by the click, across Google, Microsoft and YouTube, then moves the budget towards whatever produces the cheapest lead or sale. Ours writes the ads, manages bids and negatives every week, fixes tracking and landing pages, and reports cost per lead monthly.
The ongoing work that keeps pay-per-click campaigns profitable: reading search term reports, adding negative keywords, adjusting bids and budgets, testing ads, checking tracking and reallocating spend between platforms. An account left alone for a month starts leaking money.
Pay per click. You pay the platform each time someone clicks your ad, and the price is set in an auction every time a search happens. Google Ads and Microsoft Ads are the two big PPC platforms in Australia.
Google Ads is one PPC platform. PPC covers every pay-per-click platform, including Microsoft Ads and YouTube. Most Australian accounts spend the bulk on Google, so our PPC work usually starts there and adds Microsoft where the numbers work. Google Ads management →
Our management starts at $1,000 a month and covers the build, the ads, weekly optimisation, tracking and reporting. Your ad spend goes to Google and Microsoft directly, on your card. Most clients spend $3,000 to $30,000 a month on top. What Google Ads costs in Australia →
It is worth it when one customer is worth several times what a click costs and someone answers the phone fast. It is a poor fit for products nobody searches for yet, or budgets too small to buy enough clicks to learn from. We tell you which one you are on the first call.
Ads show the day they go live, so leads can arrive in the first week. The real gains come between weeks four and twelve, once there is enough conversion data to cut the waste. A Subaru dealership cut its cost per lead 72% in the first month.
PPC buys the top of the page today and stops when you stop paying. SEO compounds but takes months. Most of our clients run both, and the search terms that convert in PPC tell the SEO team which pages to build first. Our SEO services →

A three-month minimum to start, because a shorter run does not give the accounts time to learn, then month to month with no notice period.
